Fashion Magazine Giftwrap

This is a great way to make your gift look chic and unique, AND it also happens to be super easy! I didn't even use scissors for this!! I keep older copies of fashion magazines on hand just so I can do this, and it helps to have the bigger magazines like W or British Vogue, which is what I used here. Notice my style crush, Alexa Chung, is on the cover??

It's helpful to pick two pages from the magazine that go together in some way, fashion ads are great for this...here I used a dreamy, ethereal Donna Karan ad. I also picked this particular ad because of the light colors and off centering of the model so I would have room to write "Happy Birthday" on the front. The book/gift is "Ten Poems to Set You Free" by Roger Housden, I love the whole collection of these books because they are so great to pick up whenever you need a little inspiration.

All you need to do this at home is:

Fashion images of your choice
Tape
Ribbon/Twine/String
Black Sharpie
